Porsha Williams Says The New Cast Of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Is Going To Bring “Fresh Energy” [Video]

Porsha Williams is excited for the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The soon-to-be divorcee hopped on Instagram Live, where she touched on the upcoming season and what fans can expect. Williams admitted that while she hadn’t gotten to know all of the new housewives, she had faith in what they’d offer to the show. 

“This season is about to be crazy,” she added. Then, speaking on the new cast members, Angela Oakley, Brittany Eady, and Kelli Ferrell, Williams praised them, stating, “They some bad b****es. They are established. They are gorgeous. They are businesswomen. They are mothers.”

Williams, who is going through a divorce from entrepreneur Simon Guobadia, is making her return after a two-year hiatus. It’s unclear how much of her split will be televised, but Williams did agree that “RHOA” needed some new storylines. 

“They’re going to bring that fresh energy that we’ve been looking for,” Williams explained.

She admitted that while she hasn’t been watching the show religiously, she agrees with fans who have called for some revamping of the series. Kandi Burruss, Sanya Richards-Ross, Shereé Whitfield, and Marlo Hampton will not be returning for season 16. Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora are the only cast members returning. Cynthia Bailey is reportedly coming back as a friend of the show. 

A premiere date has yet to be announced. However, it seems that Moore and Williams began filming last week.  It doesn’t appear that the other ladies have shot any scenes just yet.
