Red Lobster officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Sunday.
Earlier this month, the seafood chain restaurant gained significant attention on social media after abruptly shutting down more than 50+ locations.

News broke that the restaurant’s success began to decline after its Endless Shrimp promotion, which resulted in an $11 million loss last year.
Many users expressed their disappointment online, heartbroken that they would no longer have access to the restaurant’s famous cheese biscuits.
