Cam’Ron is addressing his recent now-viral CNN interview on his podcast, “It Is What It Is.”
The interview has sparked a wave of commotion from fans and viewers alike, who have criticized the Diplomats rapper for being very unprofessional.
During the interview, he was repeatedly asked about Diddy and his feelings regarding Cassie’s assault, but the conversation did not go as the interviewer had hoped.
”I don’t know him like that, what do you mean did I recognize him? I’ve seen him. What you mean my experiences? I’ve seen them and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t do a zoom to see if it was really him or something, he admitted it was him.”
He said, “What I think about it (doesn’t) matter, he didn’t do (anything) to me.”
When asked if Diddy was protected by others in the industry, Cam’ron went off.
“Who the talent agent for this joint? Like, you think I be sitting watching what Diddy do and all this? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to.”
Following significant criticism, he shared his frustration about not being invited to discuss the success of his podcast or the positive work he and Ma$e do for the community.
“Every day, five days a week, Ma$e talks to kids on a Zoom call,” he explained. “Every day at five o’clock, it (doesn’t) matter what’s going on, what’s happening, where he’s at. It could be money involved, it could be a photoshoot, he stops what he’s doing to talk to kids around the world about being positive and doing what they believe in.”
“You call me on CNN for the bulls–t, I’m going to give you the bulls–t, that’s just what’s going to happen. So, we got some free promo, I teased the PinkHorsePower,” he said.
After the interview aired, many viewers were shocked by how Cam’ron handled himself, with many disapproving of his behavior while others supported his antics.
