Diddy’s son, King Combs, recently provided an update on his father’s well-being amidst ongoing legal issues.
While out in Los Angeles with his brother Justin, King Combs was approached by paparazzi who inquired about how Diddy was “holding up.” King Combs responded with a single word: “Good.” During the brief exchange, their eldest brother Quincy seemed to divert attention by promoting an upcoming project, while King Combs remained silent on the matter.
Last month, King Combs faced his own legal troubles when he was hit with a sexual assault lawsuit, following a series of similar charges against his father. The suit, filed on April 4 in Los Angeles Superior Court, also names Diddy as a defendant, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.
The plaintiff, Grace O’Marcaigh, alleges that King Combs raped her in 2022, just days before Diddy’s annual New Year’s Eve yacht party. O’Marcaigh claims that the event, advertised as a “wholesome family event,” quickly turned into a “hedonistic environment.”
Attorney Tyrone Blackburn, representing both O’Marcaigh and producer Lil Rod (who filed a similar suit against Diddy in February), stated, “It gives us no joy or pleasure in filing this suit against Christian Combs, who has clearly adopted his father’s pattern and practice of depravity.”
Aaron Dyer, attorney for both King Combs and Diddy, responded to the lawsuit by criticizing Blackburn. “This is just another lewd and meritless claim from Tyrone Blackburn — just like what he filed in the Rodney Jones lawsuit, which he still has not served,” Dyer wrote. “This complaint is filled with the same kind of manufactured lies and irrelevant facts we’ve come to expect from Blackburn.
“This is exactly why the federal judge in New York reprimanded him two days ago for a ‘pattern of behavior’ in ‘improperly filing cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly,’ and why he was referred to the disciplinary committee in the Southern District of New York. We will be filing a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim.”
