Megan Thee Stallion will not be performing at State Farm Arena on Saturday night, according to an announcement from the venue.

“After speaking with the Mayor’s office regarding the continued water leak issues affecting downtown Atlanta, the City of Atlanta is unable to accommodate the Megan Thee Stallion performance scheduled for tonight,” the statement read.

Water main breaks across Atlanta have left much of the city either without water or under a Boil Water Advisory, impacting State Farm Arena.

Despite the issues, Megan Thee Stallion expressed her desire to perform for her Atlanta fans, though it remains unclear if she’ll be able to reschedule for Saturday night.

She went live on Instagram from the State Farm Arena stage on Saturday afternoon to update fans. “Call the mayor! All day they’ve been telling us we can perform,” she said. In the video, she mentioned her team is exploring alternative venues across metro Atlanta.

Friday’s show was postponed and rescheduled for Sunday, but State Farm Arena has not commented on whether Saturday’s performance will be rescheduled.

Megan Thee Stallion expressed her disappointment on X, formerly known as Twitter, after postponing Friday’s show, teasing a major surprise for her Atlanta fans.

Channel 2’s Elizabeth Rawlins reported from outside State Farm Arena on Friday night, where fans expressed their disappointment after traveling to the city, only to have the show canceled an hour before the doors were scheduled to open.

The Sunday concert is still scheduled to proceed, but it’s unclear when water service will be restored across the city. Officials with Atlanta Watershed Management have not provided a timeline for the completion of repairs and restoration of water service.
