JT is entering her entrepreneurial era.
The “Okay” star sat down with “All Things Keyshia Ka’Oir,” where she dished on her many solo endeavors. One of her most exciting moves is the development of her nipple covers and boob tape. While there are many selections in the market, JT pointed out that finding ones to match the skin tone of dark-skinned women is challenging. This was painfully evident while the Miami star was on tour in 2022.
“Nipple covers? Never our color. When I went on tour with Jack Harlow, around that time, it was like, nipple pasties that wasn’t my color. I’m like, ‘When I get off this tour, I gotta develop my own product,'” she told the serial entrepreneur.
There is no definitive date for the line’s release, but JT did share that it had been in the works for over a year. While there are colored boob tapes and nipple covers on the market, the shades of brown are limited. With such an influence on culture and fashion, a brand of this kind produced by JT would indeed have a chance at mainstream success.
Another business she is looking to break into is cosmetics. However, JT admitted that she is taking her time to learn the ins and outs of the beauty industry.
“First, before I start makeup, I kinda wanna be more educated, so I’m in the works of a brand deal right now…once I do the brand deal, I wanna learn more about it, and then I wanna get in the business because I think people start businesses without knowing anything,” she explained.
For now, the star continues to tour nationwide in preparation for her “City Cinderella” mixtape.
