Lil Yachty Reveals Drake Rarely Listens to Music Outside of Recording Sessions [Video]

Lil Yachty just revealed in a Complex interview that despite Drake’s busy recording schedule and genre versatility, he rarely listens to music when he’s not recording.

“When I started hanging with him a lot, he rarely listens to music,” Yachty stated. “Except for like, when he’s recording.”

Yachty said that, unlike Drake, he listens to music all the time. “Driving, music. Showering, music. Eating, music,” he explained.

However, he noted that Drake, on the other hand, prefers conversation over music.

“He’s more, like a, talking type of person,” said Lil Yachty. “Music when it’s time to record. Sometimes he plays music in the car, but sometimes he’ll ride in silence.”

He said, “before we got as close, I thought all musicians were like me,” he admitted. “And music was just like, everyday, everything.”
