Floyd Mayweather is the subject of serious accusations from two men who say they were attacked after jewelry went missing from his Las Vegas homes, according to TMZ Sports.
TMZ Sports reported on March 12, 2014 that the two men had been hired to work on Mayweather’s homes in Las Vegas. When jewelry disappeared, the men say Mayweather blamed them. They claim they were told several weeks earlier to meet him at an off site location, where they say he was waiting with a group of his associates. The men allege they were then beaten with various weapons, including clubs.
TMZ’s sources said both men suffered broken arms and legs and were hospitalized for several days. The men maintain they never took anything from Mayweather, and TMZ reported that sources believe he now realizes that. According to TMZ, the men have hired a lawyer, and sources familiar with the situation said the alleged incident could lead to serious criminal charges.
These are allegations from anonymous sources and from the men themselves, and none of it has been proven. No charges against Mayweather had been reported, and no response from Mayweather or his representatives was included in the TMZ report. Baller Alert has not heard from his camp.
We will keep you posted if Mayweather or his team responds.
