Kendrick Lamar put on the show of a lifetime with his live Pop Out concert on Juneteenth, and several famous faces were outside to celebrate him.
The Los Angeles show, which was streamed on Amazon Prime, showcased several West Coast artists such as Roddy Ricch, Tyler the Creator, Steve Lacy, Dr. Dre, Dom Kennedy, Ty Dolla Sign, and YG. The star-studded event took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood and was narrated by E-40. It even welcomed L.A. staple Tommy the Clown. In true Los Angeles fashion, there was a Nipsey Hussle tribute during the festivities, led by DJ Mustard, who played their tracks “Perfect Ten” and “Last Time That I Checc’d.”
Several other musicians and athletes were in attendance for the Pop Out concert, including Los Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook, who briefly graced the stage. As expected, multiple Drake critics were also present to witness Lamar’s first performance of his diss tracks, “Euphoria” and the megahit, “Not Like Us.”
