Nicki Minaj’s sister is speaking out about her relationship with her superstar sibling.
Ming Luanli recently sat down with the “We In Miami” podcast, where she detailed her life with Nicki. Of the several revelations made in the clip, Luanli shared that she was bullied in school when people learned who her sister was. Something that made her incredibly uncomfortable was the inquiries surrounding why Minaj was not doing more for her,
“At a young age, you don’t know how to answer questions like those. I never needed her to help me get to my goal. I just needed her to see that I can do it, and she can be proud of me without having to think that I needed to have an easy way to get to the top,” Luanli shared, admitting that she has long wanted to impress the “Super Bass” star.
Luanli shared that she and Minaj were never the closest due to her busy schedule. However, despite popular beliefs, they are not feuding. Another rumor Luanli cleared up was the subject of their father. The 18-year-old explained that the late Robert Maraj was Minaj’s stepfather, and their biological father is alive in Trinidad.
The upcoming musician initially expressed that she would only conduct an interview with “The Breakfast Club.” However, Luanli said Jess Hilarious did not like her sister, which drove her away from the platform.
Minaj has not responded publicly to Luanli’s interview, though it’s likely she may have comments regarding the remarks about their father.
