Back Outside! Jamie Foxx and Alyce Huckstepp Reportedly Split After an Extremely Private 18-Month Romance

In a recent video that surfaced on social media, Jamie Foxx is seen opening up about the health scare that left him unconscious for 20 days. Foxx recounted the frightening ordeal while talking to a group of fans at a restaurant in Phoenix.

“April 11 last year, I had a bad headache and asked my boy for an Advil. Next thing I knew, I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything,” Foxx explained. “I was in Atlanta, and my sister and daughter took me to the doctor. The doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there,’” he added, pointing to his head. “I won’t say what it was on camera, but it was serious.”

Foxx was hospitalized while filming the movie Back in Action in Atlanta, co-starring Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, and Kyle Chandler.

When reports first surfaced, it initially was described only as a “medical complication.” Foxx’s daughter Corinne reassured fans that he was “already on his way to recovery” thanks to “quick action and great care.”

Despite various reports about his condition, Corinne later confirmed that her father had been “out of the hospital for weeks” and was “recuperating,” even playing pickleball.

Foxx later shared more about his experience, saying he saw “the tunnel” during his near-death episode and initially had trouble walking.

“It feels good to be here. I cherish every minute now. I wouldn’t wish what I went through on anyone because it was tough,” he said while accepting the Vanguard Award at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema & Television last December.

He added, “Six months ago, I couldn’t imagine being here. But as I stand here and receive this Vanguard Award, all I can say is ‘Lord, have mercy.’”
