Gucci Mane has sparked buzz with his latest move in the music industry.
Following controversies surrounding his label, 1017 Records, Gucci has announced that he’s offering $2 million to recruit two new artists for his brand-new label, “So Icy Millionaires.”
Recently, Gucci has faced criticism over its label, often called a “curse,” due to several of its artists landing in legal trouble or worse.
In a candid video on social media, Gucci explained his vision, saying, “I got a million plus I got some extras that I’m still counting up for the female artist. That’s what I’m willing to invest in my next superstar cuz I’m starting a whole new label, fresh; So Icy Millionaires. So, who wants to join my new label cuz I’m looking for my next male superstar.”
The move follows the tragic death of Gucci’s artist Enchanting, who passed away at 26 after being placed on life support due to an overdose of prescription medication.
