Music producer Irv Gotti, the co-founder of the legendary hip-hop label Murder Inc. Records, has been hit with serious rape accusations.

In a lawsuit filed on July 11 in Miami, a woman identified as Jane Doe accuses the 54-year-old Gotti, whose real name is Irving Domingo Lorenzo, of sexual assault and abuse from 2020 to 2022. The allegations span multiple locations, including Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta, and the plaintiff seeks a jury trial.

According to the lawsuit, the woman met Gotti at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020 through a mutual friend. Gotti then invited her on a vacation to Saint Martin, where he allegedly coerced her into sex by threatening to send her home if she refused.

“Due to his power and influence in the music world, she complied,” the suit claims.

The lawsuit also details a pattern of abuse over their two-year relationship, including an incident in January 2022 at the Four Seasons hotel in Miami, where Gotti allegedly forced the woman to perform oral sex in an elevator. Another incident reportedly occurred in an Uber in Atlanta that summer, after which their relationship ended.

The woman states that as a result of the abusive relationship, she suffered severe emotional and psychological harm, requiring hospitalization in a psychiatric ward.

“These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day,” the suit reads.

Additionally, the lawsuit accuses Gotti of slandering the woman to his extensive social network, causing her to live in fear.

Irv Gotti, a Queens native, cofounded Murder Inc. Records in 1997 alongside his brother, drawing inspiration from the short-lived supergroup comprising Jay-Z, DMX, and Ja Rule. The label, launched under Def Jam Recordings, produced hits for artists like Ashanti, Ja Rule, and Lloyd.
