Earlier this week, Big Sean dropped some fire freestyles during On The Radar, giving fans a taste of new, unreleased tracks.
But his sharp lyrics quickly sparked social media debate, with many thinking he took shots at Kendrick Lamar.
One line that grabbed fans attention was, “N*ggas looking for engagement like they got they knee bent. I got better things to do than find someone to beef with.”
He added, “Difference is I’m an activist and you drink actavis and I’m back acclimated. And I’mma need my cut off top it’s decapitated.”
Despite the speculation, Big Sean has always said there’s no beef with Kendrick.
After the freestyle, he jumped on X to set things straight in now-deleted tweets. “Y’all going with so many narratives,” he wrote. “I’m talking to the haters who just keep finding something to point out they don’t like about me. It’s not even worth explaining though, I’ma just focus on the music.”
To also clear up any confusion, DJ Hed confirmed that the “bars were directed at a different Gemini.”
I talked to Sean. The bar was
“I got better things to do then find someone to beef with”
And it was not for Dot.
