Wendy Williams celebrates her 60th birthday today, and her family is standing strong by her side during these challenging times. According to sources close to the situation told PEOPLE Magazine that her family remains supportive despite the hurdles posed by her health and legal battles.
Wendy, diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, has been under court-ordered guardianship. Her family has faced difficulties maintaining contact due to ongoing litigation but continues to send their love and best wishes. “Wendy’s family may not be able to speak openly about her condition or whereabouts, but they are united in their hope and prayers for her well-being,” shared an insider.
“Wendy has always been an icon to many, and she continues to inspire us all,” the source added.
Sabrina Morrissey, who has been appointed as Wendy’s guardian, declined to comment when approached by PEOPLE.
