Boosie Badazz has been having a phenomenal month. Fresh off a significant victory in his legal struggle over a federal gun charge, where a California judge dismissed the case, the rapper has more good news to celebrate. Boosie took to Instagram to share his gratitude and future plans after the dismissal, which lifted the travel restrictions and ankle monitor he had been facing.
Adding to his winning streak, Boosie recently secured a $21K settlement after suing the Fort Myers, Florida nightclub Celsius. The nightclub was playing his music without an ASCAP license, and now they’re paying up. The settlement means Boosie’s music is off-limits at Celsius unless they get the proper licensing.
Boosie hasn’t commented on this specific case yet, likely because he’s been busy celebrating his freedom from the federal gun charge. Despite some rumors and speculation about how he managed to get the charges dropped, Boosie firmly denies any wrongdoing or “snitching.” In an interview with VladTV, he laughed off the rumors, explaining there was no one for him to snitch on. “Four people got caught, I’m the only one that got charged,” he said. “Who the f*ck imma tell on? That sh*t cr*zy.”
