The Ritz-Carlton is adding more luxury to its catalog.
The hospitality giant recently announced that they’re set to launch their third luxury cruise named, Luminara. Set to debut in 2025, the Luminara sits at 794 feet and is considered the largest and most impressive ship part of its fleet. As of now, the Ritz-Carlton’s fleet currently includes the 623-foot Evrima, launched in 2022, and the 790-foot Ilma, launched in 2023.
“With Luminara, we are not just adding another superyacht to our fleet; we are expanding the horizons of ultra-luxury travel,” Jim Murren, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection executive chairman and CEO, said.
The Luminara, derived from the Latin word “light,” the ship features a bright interior that can accommodate up to 452 guests. Similar to its five-star hotels, the Luminara also includes 226 suites with private ocean-view terraces. However, if you’re a person who requires more space, the ship does offer larger suites such as the Residential Suite, that can comfortably accommodate families.
Additionally, the Luminara has made sure it offers ample space for socializing and relaxation with world-class dining, a signature Ritz-Carlton spa, an extensive wine collection, and a marina that gives guests direct access to the ocean.
“Luminara is an invitation to embark on remarkable journeys and discover the world’s most captivating destinations with unparalleled amenities and service,” Murren added.
Nevertheless, the Luminara is expected to embark on its first sail on July 31, 2025, for a round-trip to Rome. To snag a room on either Ritz-Carlton cruise, reservations can be made on the company’s website.
