Fans are going crazy over Angel Reese!
On Saturday, the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Angel Reese shined on the court, becoming the first rookie to score a double-double in an All-Star game. However, one fan’s interaction with the Chicago Sky player also caught everyone’s attention.
In a now-viral video, a Houston woman named Ivy K was seen being escorted out of the arena by security while trying to speak to Reese, who appeared confused by the interaction. The details of what Ivy K said to Reese are unclear, but the whole situation was definitely awkward.
After the incident, Ivy K addressed the situation on her Instagram account, posting clips from the night. In her caption, Ivy K wrote, “I paid $1200 for my seat to think @angelreese was not gonna see my face, crazy!” She continued, “I spent my kids’ school money for them to do me like this. Anyway, I’m on the side of a STAR.”
Ivy K also elaborated on her Instagram Stories, explaining that she only wanted to see Reese. “I was trying to see Angel Reese,” she said in a video. “I’ve been watching her be a GOAT, be a dog, all this time. I get to Phoenix, Arizona, and they say they don’t have any more tickets. All the tickets sold out. I’m gonna finesse my way through, and it’s not because I don’t have money. School’s starting soon, I gotta take care of my kids, but I do like Angel Reese. I did want to see Angel Reese, so I snuck my way through.”
As of now, Angel Reese has not commented on the interaction, but it’s safe to say that Ivy K had quite the experience!
