Ice Spice got candid in her recent Rolling Stone interview about where she stands with Latto after their rap beef earlier this year.
Reflecting on the drama, she started, “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘what’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me. I can understand friendly competition, but I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny.”
She said, “Like, bro, ‘Think U the Shit’ is from January. You’re going to post a piece of shit cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re taking something that’s supposed to be a fun moment for you and you’re making it about me … again.”
As you know, the beef started last year when Latto was accused of copying Spice’s pose in front of a pink car in an Instagram photo.
Things heated up at the beginning of this year when Latto dropped her single “Sunday Service,” where fans speculated she threw shots at Spice with the line, “Think I’m the shit? Bitch, I know it, ho / Jesus walked on water, I got Ice boilin’ though.”
Which was in response to Spice’s diss on her single “Think You The Shit (Fart).”
While the beef might not be completely over, it looks like Ice Spice is leaving the ball in Latto’s court, staying unbothered and focused on her album release.
