Phaedra Parks is dusting off her peach and returning to the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ franchise. Parks made the big reveal on Instagram on Monday, with a photo of her holding a peach and a caption reading, “You called, I answered.”
The announcement comes just as the ‘RHOA” team was in the midst of making some changes to its cast. About a month ago, cast member Kenya Moore was dismissed from the series after allegedly revealing explicit photos of newbie Brittany Eady during the grand opening of Moore’s hair spa.
“You are the best fans anyone could ever ask for, and I love you all so very much,” Moore wrote on Instagram after receiving the news. “Always and forever.”
Despite fans preparing to see Moore reunite with her frienemy Porsha Williams, they’ll get a chance to watch Parks reconnect with Williams, who she refers to as the “frack” to her “frick.” Now, the reveal is a bit of a shock, seeing as though Parks was previously adamant about not returning to the show. During a 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Parks said that she “made it very clear” that going back to the franchise is ” not what I want to do.”
“No. I will be yachting. Let them continue to sail away on the Titanic, okay?” she said. “I don’t want to pick up a peach. If I wanted a peach, I would have a peach pie.”
