MTV Announces 2024 VMA Nominees: Taylor Swift Leads with 10 Nominations

MTV has just revealed the highly anticipated list of nominees for the 2024 VMAs! Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift leads the pack with 10 nominations, closely followed by her “Fortnight” collaborator Post Malone with nine. Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Sabrina Carpenter each snagged six nominations, while Megan Thee Stallion and SZA earned five each. Other notable nominees include LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims, each with four nominations.

Both Sabrina Carpenter and Teddy Swims are among the 29 first-time VMA nominees this year, joined by other fresh faces like Benson Boone, Tyla, and Sexyy Red. The 2024 VMAs will be broadcast live from New York’s UBS Arena on Tuesday, September 10th at 8 PM ET/PT, promising unforgettable performances and surprises.

Fans can vote for their favorites across 15 gender-neutral categories until August 30th, with voting for “Best New Artist” remaining open until the day of the show.
