Wendy’s is giving parents and kids a special gift this back-to-school season.
Now through September 2, the fast-food chain is offering a free kids’ meal with the purchase of any premium combo meal. This limited-time offer is perfect for families looking to save while grabbing a bite on the go.
Kids can choose between four-piece chicken nuggets (regular or spicy), a cheeseburger, or a hamburger, paired with either Jr. French fries or apple slices. Plus, kids get to pick a drink like blueberry pomegranate lemonade or chocolate milk, and of course, a fun toy to top it all off.
Here’s how it works: Buy a premium combo meal, which includes one of Wendy’s signature sandwiches like the Baconator or spicy chicken sandwich, along with a side and a drink. Prices typically range from $10 to $15 depending on your location and choice of sandwich. Once you’ve made your purchase, the kids’ meal is yours for free! The deal is exclusive to orders made through the Wendy’s app, and while you’re limited to one free kids’ meal per visit, you can use this offer as many times as you like during the promotion period.
Not to be outdone, Burger King is also jumping into the back-to-school fun. From now until August 25, BK fans can snag a free King Jr. Meal with a $10 purchase. Kids can choose from a double cheeseburger, four-piece or six-piece chicken nuggets, cheeseburger, or hamburger, with sides like French fries, onion rings, Have-sies (a mix of fries and onion rings), or apple sauce. Just like Wendy’s, the meal includes a drink and a choice between a toy or a chocolate chip cookie.
