Kash Doll is no stranger to keeping it real, but this time, she had no choice but to bring the drama to Instagram. The Detroit rapper, known for her hits and hustle, just went live to address some disturbing rumors that hit a little too close to home—literally.
In the video, Kash Doll starts by letting her followers know she’s about to get real personal, something she doesn’t usually do. “I normally don’t put the internet in my business because I feel like you know, you share certain things and you keep certain things to yourself, right?” she explained. But this time, she couldn’t stay silent. After recently spending time in Detroit, her Atlanta home was targeted in a shocking home invasion. “People saw I wasn’t home and thought it was the best opportunity to run inside my house and get all my Birkin bags,” she revealed.
While the incident was terrifying, Kash Doll made it clear that the culprits didn’t get away with it. “They got caught. They got into a shootout with my child’s father, and the police got all of them,” she said with a mix of relief and frustration. But the situation didn’t end there, and that’s where things took a wild turn.
Kash Doll shared that the real betrayal came not from the thieves, but from a neighbor in her affluent Atlanta neighborhood. Runny Mayors, a community leader, allegedly went to the news to accuse her home of being a “drug house” simply because of the traffic and the presence of successful Black people. “He just assumed that since it’s nice cars and other successful Black people pulling up…that I have drugs in my home,” Kash Doll explained. She was clearly upset, not just by the accusation, but by what it represented—a stereotype that Black success must be tied to something illegal.
“I’m the only Black person on my block and the youngest person on my block,” Kash Doll emphasized, pointing out the unfairness of the situation. She went on to express her disbelief that in 2024, she still has to deal with such blatant racism and profiling. “The sacrifices I make, how hard I work, everything that I do—for you to just associate me with drugs just because I’m young, Black, and successful—that’s crazy.”
Kash Doll didn’t hold back her feelings, making sure Runny Mayors and anyone else doubting her success knows exactly why she’s thriving. “This man had the audacity to go to the news and tell them that my house is a drug house,” she repeated, clearly shaken by the ordeal. But she ended her video on a strong note, showing that while the situation was serious, she’s not about to let anyone dim her shine.
Kash Doll’s message was loud and clear: she’s not just surviving, she’s thriving, and no baseless accusations are going to change that.
