Beyoncé just announced that she’s partnering with Moët Hennessy to launch her own American whiskey brand, SirDavis Whisky.
This isn’t just another celebrity-backed spirit; it is named after her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a Southern farmer and moonshine maker who lived during Prohibition.
The whiskey stands out with its unique blend of 51% rye and 49% malted barley. At 88 proof, it’s got just the right kick.
The Queen Bey explained her inspiration behind the brand: “I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling. When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy. In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category.”
SirDavis Whisky will retail for $89 and be available next month at select retailers across the U.S., Tokyo, Paris, and London.
You know the Beyhive will be all over this, and pre-sale orders are live now on SirDavis.com.
