Kordell Beckham has more than just a “Love Island USA” win to celebrate this summer.
After winning season 6 of the hit dating show, Odell Beckham Jr.’s little bro achieved one of his long-term goals, securing a Cheez-It sponsorship.
It all started back in the villa when Kordell and Serena were getting to know each other. During one of their first chats, Serena asked Kordell about his long-term goals. He answered: “I can’t get enough of Cheez-Its,” adding that scoring a sponsorship deal with the cracker brand was on his dream list.
After winning the show, Kordell made it clear he was still serious about his love for Cheez-Its. During a July 22 interview on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Kordell was excited to learn that Cheez-It had mentioned him in a social media post. Seizing the opportunity, he pitched a flavor idea: “Spicy white cheddar,” he suggested.
Cheez-It didn’t take long to respond. The brand teased the possibility of a collaboration by commenting, “He’s even wearing the Cheez-It red,” signaling that something special was in the works.
Fast forward a month, and Kordell’s flavor idea has officially come to life. On August 19, Cheez-It announced the launch of the “Kordeezy Cheezy Couple” bundle, featuring Beckham’s face on boxes of his two favorite flavors: White Cheddar and Hot & Spicy Cheez-It.
