When Yandy got a free second, she decided to take to Instagram to respond to rumors of whether Mandeecees was really walking the streets of New York again or not. In case you missed it, a photo of Mandeecees enjoying a glass of wine, was posted to Mandeecees’ official instagram. The photo was captioned “Having a drink. Y’all missed me?” a caption that lead many to believe that Mandeecees was out on bail. According to Yandy, that is not the case and because I have a free second, I’m going to post her response.
“If it doesn’t come from me, it’s probably not true” she began, “you know they like to speculate and exaggerate.”
Somewhere after that I stopped reading because it does not take “speculation” and “exaggeration” to see a photo of Mandeecees posted on HIS instagram with the caption “Having a drink. Did y’all miss me?” to come to the conclusion that he was in the free world having a good time. That’s neither speculation nor exaggeration. That is “leading the people to believe what you want them to believe and then denying it because celebrities do this EVERY day.”
She continued the post to credit someone for posting the photo on Mandeecees instagram. “@2thejew, you got Instagram in a frenzy over an old pic.”
Now, here’s my thing. The photo is still on Mandeecees instagram page with the same caption. If it was causing confusion, why not remove it? Why post the photo with THAT caption in the first place? Then you have the nerve to say he may have been hacked, while later crediting a particular person for posting it and then insinuating that people are making up things and lying?
Do you know what’s exaggerated? This half-assed attempt to drum up some buzz for a Love & Hip Hop story line.
