DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Bills, is demanding over $4 million in damages from rapper DaBaby following an alleged assault that took place in 2022. According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Brandon is seeking $2 million in general damages and an additional $2 million in special damages.
The incident occurred at a bowling alley in Southern California, where Brandon encountered DaBaby, 32, who was accompanied by friends. In his lawsuit, Brandon accuses DaBaby of attacking him without provocation, leading to severe injuries, psychological distress, and mounting medical bills. A viral video of the altercation shows the two fighting on the bowling lanes, with several others joining the scuffle.
This confrontation happened just months after DaBaby and DaniLeigh, 29, ended their relationship in a very public and messy breakup. Following the fight, TMZ reported that police launched an investigation, but no charges were brought against DaBaby as Brandon declined to cooperate with authorities. Instead, Brandon chose to pursue a civil lawsuit against both DaBaby and the bowling alley. DaBaby later claimed that his actions were in self-defense.
Brandon has faced difficulties in serving DaBaby with the court documents. Despite hiring a process server, they were unable to locate the rapper. As a result, the judge approved Brandon’s request to post a legal notice in a newspaper as an alternative means of serving DaBaby.
