Conor McGregor Teases Presidential Run, Says He’s the ‘Only Logical Choice’ for Ireland in 2025

Conor McGregor is shaking things up with his latest social media post, hinting at a possible run for president of Ireland.

On X, he declared himself the “only logical choice” for the role, describing current leaders as “thieves of the working man” and “destructors of small businesses.”

McGregor stated he’d have all the answers Ireland needs and suggested he might even dissolve the Dáil if politicians don’t step up.

“The people of Ireland deserve the answers they seek. Point blank. This would be my power as President. I know very well. Ireland needs an active President employed wholly by the people of Ireland. It is me. I am the only logical choice. 2025 is upcoming…”

With Irish President Michael D. Higgins nearing the end of his term and ineligible for re-election, McGregor’s bold statements have put his name in the mix for 2025.

As President I hold the power to summon the Dáil as well as dissolve it. So as i said before, I would have all the answers the people of Ireland seek from these thieves of the working man, these disrupters of the family unit, these destructors of small businesses, and on and on…
