Benzino tweeted ‘What brawl?’ after reports of a fight at the grand opening of his and Stevie J’s restaurant and bar, Sleazy & Zino. Now TMZ has posted video from the night, and it suggests something did happen at the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast party on February 5.
According to TMZ, which cited an unnamed party guest, the trouble began when Joseline Hernandez arrived with a friend and an argument turned physical. TMZ also reported that Momma Dee was hit in the face with a bottle and that several people ended up with cuts. VH1 cameras were reportedly rolling at the event.
Earlier reporting from blogger Funky Dineva gave a different version that pointed to a dispute involving Benzino’s girlfriend and Karlie Redd. The accounts do not match, and the people involved have not given an official account of who did what. We are pointing you to the video rather than guessing who is who in it.
We did not see an official statement from VH1, Benzino or Stevie J beyond Benzino’s tweet.
Watch the footage on TMZ and let us know what you think.
