Bill O'Reilly Storms Off PBS Set After Confrontation Over Sexual Harassment Allegations [Video]

In a jaw-dropping moment, Bill O’Reilly stormed off the set of PBS’s “Firing Line” after being grilled by host Margaret Hoover about the explosive sexual harassment allegations that derailed his Fox News career.

Hoover, once a familiar face on “The O’Reilly Factor,” dared to confront the disgraced anchor over the tens of millions of dollars paid out to silence women accusing him of misconduct. O’Reilly was axed from Fox after The New York Times blew the lid off these settlements.  In 2017, the outlet reported that O’Reilly had reached $13 million in settlements over harassment claims, leading to his ouster from the network.  Later, an additional $32 million settlement was revealed.  Hoover acknowledged she didn’t expect O’Reilly to comment on these details, though he admitted knowing the question was coming.

“Well, I knew it was coming. I knew you were inviting me here for a discussion and that would, that would be part of it. But I’d be a fool to dredge that up,” he told Hoover.

Things got even more tense as Hoover pointed out how O’Reilly’s accusers were left in the dust, unable to reclaim their careers, while he thrived in independent media.  Instead of addressing this brutal truth, O’Reilly lashed out, warning Hoover not to air the footage and threatening legal action. Despite his threats, PBS aired the bombshell episode.

In an unprecedented move, the former Fox titan stormed off, marking the first time in Hoover’s seven years hosting “Firing Line” that a guest couldn’t handle the heat and fled before the interview ended.
