Dr. Umar Johnson, known for his outspoken commentary on issues affecting the Black community, took to social media recently to address the timing of the allegations and legal troubles surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. In a passionate video, Dr. Umar suggested that the recent focus on Diddy is no coincidence and that it serves as a deliberate distraction from crucial political issues ahead of the 2024 election.
“They gave you Puff Daddy during election season for a reason,” Dr. Umar stated bluntly, addressing his followers. He explained that the sudden surge of attention on Diddy is a strategic move to divert the Black community’s focus away from the laws and policies being pushed through behind the scenes. “This is a distraction. And because they know Black people love to see Black people disgraced, humiliated, and destroyed, they said, throw them one of their own.”
Dr. Umar believes that the powers that be are using Diddy’s situation as a way to keep the community’s eyes off the bigger picture. He urged viewers to consider what’s really happening in politics while everyone is caught up in the latest celebrity scandal. “They always do this when they’re planning something really, really big that they don’t want Black people to pay attention to,” he warned, pointing out how often these kinds of stories surface just when critical decisions are being made.
Scrolling through social media, Dr. Umar noticed that the conversation among Black people had shifted almost entirely to Diddy, with little attention being paid to the upcoming election or demands for political accountability. “There’s nothing wrong with a conversation on Sean Puffy Combs,” he said, “but when you scroll through Black Twitter, Black Instagram, and all you see is gossip and conversation about one man at a time like this, then you know you are engaged in a grand distraction.”
According to Dr. Umar, the sudden focus on Diddy is meant to steer the Black community away from questioning the political agenda—or lack thereof—of key figures like Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Before the media frenzy surrounding Diddy, he noted, the community was demanding answers about what these politicians would do for African Americans. “We were asking Kamala, what are you going to do for us? We were asking Donald Trump, what are you going to do for us?”

Dr. Umar called out what he sees as a pattern of using high-profile Black figures as scapegoats or distractions during crucial political moments. “Sean Combs is a distraction. Anytime you see something like this, you should ask yourself, what are they trying to distract African people away from?”
He also drew a stark comparison between Diddy and other celebrities who have faced scrutiny—or the lack thereof. “Hugh Hefner had a living freak off at the Playboy mansion, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, nobody said a word,” he pointed out. “This is nothing but a distraction from the election.”
Dr. Umar Johnson urges the Black community to keep their eyes on the bigger picture and continue pushing for political accountability and justice. “You have been outsmarted, outmaneuvered, and outstrategized by the white power structure once again,” he concluded, calling for a renewed focus on the issues that truly matter.

BS. This country has gone so rogue. Criminals who are all too happy to commit crimes, gloating, acting flagrantly, then when they are arrested and jailed, it’s boohoo, crybaby ‘I’m innocent’. You want to be big men, running sex rings? Own your ish! Just like the disgusting man in France who drugged his wife and let OVER 75 MEN rape her for 10 YEARS. He did it, and he admitted it without any force needing to make him. He said ‘I did it, and the men knew what they were doing too. They knew it was rape.’ As egregious as it is, at least he was man enough to own his ish. American men are disgusting. Criming all day long, but can’t take the punishment. SMDH
Also, Umar, Hugh Hefner WASN’T TRAFFICKING WOMEN, and he wasn’t scratching serial numbers off of a cache of AR-15s, nor was intimidating witnesses, or was he engaged in racketeering. All ‘allegedly’ of course. What a joke. Come up with a better argument before you try to gaslight people. That’s the problem with men in this country, they think people are stupid. And that’s also ALWAYS their downfall. They think they’re smarter than anyone else. SMDH.
