During a recent call-in interview from jail with Chris Cuomo, music executive and former CEO of Death Row Records, Suge Knight, made some startling claims about secret hazing rituals in Hollywood. Knight, who is currently incarcerated, didn’t hold back as he described what he called the “boiled egg test,” a supposed initiation rite that sounds almost too bizarre to believe.
“They used to have these guys, they used to call it the boiled egg test,” Suge began. “They used to take a boiled egg, a raw boiled egg, they had those guys put their pants down and bend over and they stick it up their ass. The eggs break, they say they’re not ready yet. They ain’t put enough work in.”
The vivid imagery left Cuomo and his audience stunned. Knight went on to express his frustration with the way people in Hollywood often pretend to be unaware of such things. “This is Hollywood. So everybody wanna go act like they don’t know what’s going on,” he continued.
Clearly caught off guard, Cuomo interjected, “Hold on a second. But if you just look, that’s all you gotta do. I have never heard of anything like that.”
Suge doubled down, suggesting that there might even be video evidence of these strange practices. Chris interjected: “So if I haven’t heard about it, just assume a lot of people haven’t heard that before, But you think it’s on video?”
The conversation was abruptly paused as Cuomo, perhaps needing a moment to digest what he just heard, signaled a break. The short but intense exchange left listeners with more questions than answers about what really goes on behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
It’s unclear how much of Knight’s claims can be substantiated.
