Wack 100 claims Drake is taking legal action to prevent Kendrick Lamar from performing “Not Like Us” at the Super Bowl halftime show.
During a Sunday streaming session, the music executive stirred debate by alleging that Drizzy issued a cease and desist order to Lamar, barring him from performing the hit diss track at the February 11th, 2025, game.
“He’s trying to get the NFL to restrict Kendrick,” Wack shared during the conversation.
While neither Drake nor Lamar has publicly commented on the situation, this rumor has added a new layer of drama to the long-standing rivalry between the two stars. Lamar has not revealed his setlist for the big game, though many have assumed “Not Like Us” would undoubtedly be on it, considering that it was arguably the biggest release of 2024. However, given the salacious accusations being made against the Toronto star in the single, it’s no wonder why Drake would want the song excluded.
Additionally, there is animosity over Lil Wayne not being selected for next year’s halftime show, which is taking place in his hometown of New Orleans. Therefore, this could also be a motivator for Drake to attempt some intervention. Nicki Minaj also called out Jay-Z for punishing Wayne by excluding him from the show. However, Wack believes that as long as the Roc Nation founder has a hand in the Super Bowl, Drake’s cease and desist won’t stop Lamar from performing his hit.
It’s unknown where Wack got this information from or if it’s even true.
