This October, Taco Tuesday is getting an upgrade, thanks to Taco Bell. The fast-food giant has teamed up with the National Day Calendar to move National Taco Day to the first Tuesday of October, making it land on Tuesday, Oct. 1, this year.
“For years, we’ve celebrated National Taco Day on October 4th, but it’s always felt like there was a bigger opportunity to align it with something even more special—Taco Tuesday,” said Marlo Anderson, founder of National Day Calendar. “With Taco Bell’s help, we’re excited to make this the ultimate Taco Tuesday celebration.”
To kick things off, Taco Bell is offering $1 tacos every hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1. Each hour, a different fan-favorite taco will be available, including:
- 10 a.m. – Crunchy Taco
- 11 a.m. – Double Stacked Taco
- 12 p.m. – Chalupa Supreme
- 1 p.m. – Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos
- 2 p.m. – Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco
- 3 p.m. – Cantina Chicken Soft Taco
- 4 p.m. – Soft Taco Supreme
- 5 p.m. – Cheesy Gordita Crunch
- 6 p.m. – Crunchy Taco Supreme
- 7 p.m. – Soft Taco
Taco Bell plans to sell 10,000 tacos per hour during the event, giving fans plenty of chances to score their favorite taco for just $1.
