Travis Scott to Receive “I Am Hip Hop Award” at 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards

BET is set to honor diamond-certified rapper, producer, and entrepreneur Travis Scott with this year’s highly coveted “I Am Hip Hop Award” at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards. The global superstar, who is also a six-time nominee at this year’s awards, will be recognized for his unmatched creative contributions and cultural impact, which have solidified his place as one of the most innovative artists in the music industry.

This year’s show will take place at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas, NV, on Tuesday, October 8, and promises to be an exciting, reimagined celebration of hip hop. Hosted by rapper Fat Joe, the event will highlight iconic club anthems from the past several decades and will premiere on Tuesday, October 15, at 8 PM ET/PT on BET.

Megan Thee Stallion leads the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards nominations with an impressive twelve nods. The event will recognize the best in hip hop across 17 categories, all selected by a prestigious voting academy of industry experts.
