TikToker Mr Prada, real name Terryon Thomas, has been charged in connection with the murder of 69-year-old therapist William Nicholas Abraham. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office announced the charges Thursday, which include second-degree murder and obstruction of justice after Abraham was found dead near a highway in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. Authorities confirmed that Abraham died from blunt force trauma.
Mr Prada, who has nearly 4 million followers on TikTok, was arrested in Dallas on Tuesday after Baton Rouge police issued a warrant. The 20-year-old faces additional charges, including aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting arrest, and unauthorized use of Abraham’s stolen vehicle, which police say he was driving when apprehended.
The case has stirred intense online speculation, with users across TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) questioning the connection between Thomas and Abraham. While police have not confirmed the nature of their relationship, evidence found at Thomas’ Baton Rouge apartment suggests a violent altercation. According to an affidavit, investigators discovered a large amount of blood and multiple weapons inside Thomas’ home.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows Abraham arriving at Thomas’ apartment the day before his body was discovered. Witnesses also claimed to have seen Thomas dragging a tarp and loading it into Abraham’s vehicle.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux thanked law enforcement for their efforts, noting that the investigation is still ongoing. “This arrest is a major step, but there is more to uncover,” he stated in a news release.
As speculation about Thomas’ involvement continues, some have referenced Abraham’s 2015 arrest for allegedly inappropriately touching a young client, though prosecutors declined to pursue that case. Officials have made it clear that there is no evidence linking Thomas to the earlier allegations.
Currently, Thomas remains in custody in Dallas, awaiting extradition to Louisiana. A court date has yet to be set, and his legal representation is still unknown.
