DDG Claps Back at Joe Budden’s Suggestion That He’s Irrelevant Outside of Halle Bailey [Video]

DDG went completely off on Joe Budden for speaking on his relationship during a recent episode of his podcast. 

On Saturday’s episode of the “Joe Budden Podcast,” things went south when the host and his co-hosts discussed the viral breakup between Halle Bailey and DDG. Budden raised the point that he wasn’t aware of anything DDG does outside of Bailey, who has a notable career as both a singer and actress. The podcaster then admitted he’s glad they’ve broken up so he can stop hearing about the streamer. 

“I’m very happy that they have broken up so I don’t get to keep seeing this n***a’s name attached to this girl’s name when I don’t know him for nothing as a stand-alone,” Budden stated. “Every time I see his name, it’s attached to hers, and it’s typically in some type of clout chaser fashion, and that makes me look at him a different way.”

They also clowned DDG for releasing a lengthy statement revealing the breakup.  However, Budden then brings up a troll-generated tweet that he believed was from DDG that read, “Her head game is trash as f**k,” in reference to Bailey.  This tweet has been dispelled on social media as fake, though Budden may not have gotten the memo before taping.  Nevertheless, DDG took to Twitter to call out Budden, his career, and much more. 

“Pump it up went gold after 20 years u old b***h @JoeBudden.  I’m on u,” he wrote in one tweet.

In another, he explained, “ion be trippin bout the girls sayin shit cuz I’m used to it. it’s all love. but u n***as wit platforms gon get a response fasho.”

It’s unknown what caused the split, but both DDG and Bailey have taken the high road, refraining from making disparaging comments about one another in public. The 26-year-old questioned why Budden would be so invested in the relationship of people m uch younger than him.

“N***a got 30 years MAX of life left & speakin on a relationship of people the same age as yo son you’n take care of. I hope u forget to take your magnesium pills today u old b***h,” he wrote.
