Foxy Brown took a moment to finally clear up the rumors surrounding Jay-Z having her under a tight NDA.
Throughout the years, many have speculated that Hov forced Foxy to sign the non-disclosure agreement to keep her quiet. Though the reasons vary, some believe it had something to do with a relationship or even a bad business deal. However, Foxy denied that she ever signed such a document. She shared a series of Instagram Story posts on Sunday, putting the rumors to bed once and for all while calling out those who have helped push these false narratives.
She shared one screenshot of a tweet where the user claimed the alleged NDA would expire next year, allowing Foxy to talk freely about her experiences with the Roc-a-Fella founder.
“In icon business! Miss me with tha fake news. NDA? Ain’t a MF alive could stop my story! NDA on my s**t gon’ run 100 mill,” she wrote.
In another IG Story, Foxy shared a screenshot from a YouTuber claiming that Foxy had broken her silence and voiced knowledge of Jay-Z and Diddy’s friendship. Again, the Brooklyn rapper denied this and accused the creator of using her for engagement.
“Stop playin’ wit me name dyin’ for a comment! Can’t spin me with the sucker s**t to take Hov down. Betta ask ‘bout tha cloth I’m cut from,” Foxy added.
Foxy was never signed to Jay-Z, though she was signed to Def Jam in 1996. The two collaborated on several tracks, including “I’ll Be.” Gossip about their relationship has spread for years, with some even believing Hov mistreated Foxy somehow. However, she is adamant this is not the case. Instead, she believes people are eager to see her go against him for their own gain.
“Ya’ll want me to be anti-Hov so bad. FOH…post that,” Foxy wrote in a post.
