‘Love Island USA’ Star Hannah Smith Arrested for Threatening Officer

Hannah Smith, best known for her time on Season 6 of Love Island USA, is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The reality star was recently arrested in Atlanta after a chaotic night that ended in two felony charges, TMZ reports.

According to police documents obtained by the outlet, the incident went down on September 30 at a concert venue in Atlanta, where Hannah was reportedly escorted out for disorderly behavior. Things escalated quickly when an officer on the scene tried to help her into an Uber, but instead of complying, Hannah allegedly swung at the cop with a closed fist.

Even after being handcuffed, she allegedly continued to resist, trying to kick the officer multiple times. While on her way to jail, Hannah also allegedly made repeated threats to kill both the officer and the officer’s sister.

Hannah was charged with two felonies: terroristic threats and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. She was released on bail the next day and has continued posting on social media without addressing the situation.

Fans of Love Island USA will remember Hannah for her brief time on the show. She entered the villa on Day 1 and initially coupled up with Kendall Washington, but the relationship didn’t last. Kendall moved on to Nicole Jacky, and Hannah was eliminated from the show on Day 10 after not making a connection.
