Lewis Hamilton has been one of the biggest faces in the growing sport of F1, and Vice President Kamala Harris and her family are huge fans. Harris joined Howard Stern on his show on SiriusXM, where Stern first asked if she was a fan of the sport. Harris responded, “It’s so good. We love it. Our whole family does.”
She admitted, however, that her hectic travel schedule and the events being in different time zones make it hard to enjoy with her family. “No, God no. No, actually, I haven’t been able to watch it recently because I am campaigning. Also, depending on where they are driving, the time of day—you have to wake up.”
Stern, who had never watched F1, said, “Once you start… you should see it, you might get hooked,” Harris encouraged him. When asked who her favorite driver was, she responded quickly: “Lewis Hamilton, of course.”
The British driver has become a favorite in the rapidly growing sport. It was reported this morning that Hamilton will co-chair the 2025 Met Gala alongside LeBron James. A regular at the event since 2015, Hamilton’s brand has skyrocketed over the years, and many, including fans like Harris, are excited to see the creativity he brings to the prestigious event.
