Nene Leakes’ youngest son, Brentt Leakes, recently took to social media to share his battle with health issues from June of this year.
In a heartfelt post, he revealed he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure after several hospital visits.
“Thank you, God. This year was undoubtedly the craziest for me,” he wrote.
On Instagram, he also shared photos from his hospital stay, explaining that he underwent a 14-hour heart transplant surgery in July.
“Now I have a brand new heart,” he said. “I’m still in recovery and have had to relearn how to walk and communicate, but I’m even more fluent.”
He expressed deep gratitude, thanking the heart donor’s family, his mom, friends, and medical staff for their support. “This experience has FOREVER changed my life. Never give up.”
This isn’t Brentt’s first health scare; he suffered congestive heart failure and a stroke in 2022 at just 23. After that, he showed off an inspiring 100-pound weight loss.
