Kash Doll says she is officially back on the market after announcing her breakup with rapper Tracy T earlier this year.
The Detroit star chatted with TMZ, where she spoke candidly about post-baby breakups.
“After having kids, you get a different type of clarity…of things that you want in life. You learn things about each other, and some people just grow apart,” she explained, adding, “Some people just be f**kin’ up.”
She was then asked whether couples should work out their differences so their children grow up in a two-parent household. However, the 32-year-old made it clear that this is not the right approach, as it can do more harm than good.
“You gotta do what’s best for you because If you’re happy, your kids gonna get a happy mother. If you’re miserable, your kids gonna get a miserable mother,” Kash firmly stated.
The conversation then pivoted to new romances. She encouraged people to enjoy one another and not “self-sabotage” but confirmed she was “BACK BABY” when asked if she herself was interested in getting back into dating. Though she confirmed she’s not exactly looking for anyone, Kash isn’t closed off to the idea.
The “For Everybody” rapper announced her breakup from Tracy in July, just weeks after giving birth to the couple’s second child, Klarity. They welcomed their first child, Kashton, in January 2022. The pair were first linked in March 2021 and confirmed their relationship shortly after. What exactly went wrong is unknown, as both have kept their issues private.
