In a recent episode of Nick Cannon’s show, “Cannon’s Class,” he hosted Dr. Umar Johnson for a heated debate about the presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
During the discussion, Cannon questioned which is the better of the two candidates, both of which know the importance of providing a good image for the country.
“What would be a better choice of identity and pageantry than a white man that’s all about money and told us that he cares nothing about us but cares about him? Or a woman that at least…shows that she has some sense of compassion and empathy for the people of the United States of America?” Cannon questioned.
Johnson fired back, claiming that Harris once stated the U.S. was not a racist country. He also accused her of not pushing measures specifically to benefit African Americans, while other laws, such as the anti-Asian hate bill, passed under President Biden and VP Harris’ tenure, a notion that Cannon pushed back on.
“My problem is how do the Asians get an anti-hate bill after one massacre? And don’t get me wrong, that’s enough to get a bill, but Black people been catching hell for four centuries, and we ain’t got one yet,” Johnson declared.
Johnson has been a staunch critic of Harris since she announced her bid for the White House. He has been critical of her race, policies, and even the belief that she will not aid Black men.
