André 3000 is back, and he’s got fans scratching their heads with his latest release.
The song, titled “Something Is Happening and I May Not Fully Understand but I’m Happy to Stand for the Understanding,” just hit the scene as part of a compilation album supporting transgender awareness, Transa: Select.
At almost 30 minutes long, this track is meditative and mostly instrumental. However, towards the end, André finally starts rapping, but It’s hard to make out what he’s saying because the verse seems to be played in reverse.
Fans took to social media trying to decode the hidden verse, with one user claiming that André’s just spitting “nonsense words.”
While most listeners couldn’t make sense of the cryptic lines, many had theories about what the ATLien might be up to next.
