Cardi B and YouTuber Armon Wiggins exchanged words on X Thursday following news of the rapper’s scheduled appearance at Kamala Harris‘ upcoming rally in Wisconsin.
Earlier, it was announced that the “Like What” rapper would speak at a Milwaukee rally with Kamala Harris on Friday.
Once the announcement hit X, the YouTube star quoted the post with a rhetorical question, saying, “Didn’t she say she would Never Endorse a political candidate or politician again!” He went on to call Cardi fake and implied she’s only endorsing now because her peers are doing it.
Cardi caught wind of the tweet and quickly clapped back, sharing a screenshot of a clip of her discussing how Kamala should have been the Democratic pick on June 30.
“EATER!” she replied to Wiggins. “And this was before she even ran…I don’t gotta follow the crowd. I stand on what I believe, and my biggest issue was with Palestine, which she addressed for a ceasefire,” Cardi explained, defending herself.
In another post, doubling down on his stance, Wiggins shared screenshots of an article where Cardi had previously said she would never endorse another candidate.
Wiggins then went on to say he was done and going back to watching Megan Thee Stallion’s Amazon doc.
But Cardi wasn’t finished. The rapper took to X Spaces, indirectly addressing Wiggins.
“Make this very clear. I’m not a person you can keep disrespecting or bullying,” Cardi said, adding that she’d reached her breaking point. “You’re not gonna keep picking on me. You’re not gonna keep bullying me. There are boundaries, and you’ve been crossing them. Stop playing with me.”
Cardi emphasized that she’s “spared” Wiggins on multiple occasions, choosing not to escalate the situation despite knowing his whereabouts and hearing about his movements from mutual contacts. “People tell me where the f*** you’re at all the time, and I don’t even care. Don’t let me get there,” she warned. “I’ve spared you plenty of times—and I’m not talking about sparing on no internet time.”
Wrapping up her message, Cardi made it clear she wouldn’t be dragged into a social media back-and-forth but firmly warned, “Stop playing with me. I don’t bother nobody; don’t come bothering me because I’ve spared you plenty of times.”
Following the Spaces, Wiggins apologized to Cardi.
He shared on X, “I don’t want no problems y’all got it… we gone get it without being attached to a controversial headline… as a MAN @iamcardib, if you feel like I ever used derogatory words towards you I apologize… I don’t wanna fight, girl, I’m off it.”
Let’s hope they can move on peacefully.
