Today, Quincy Jones was laid to rest in Los Angeles in an intimate private ceremony attended by immediate family only.
Jones passed away on November 3 at his home, surrounded by all of his loved ones.
He is survived by his children—Jolie, Rachel, Martina, Quincy III, Kidada, Rashida, and Kenya—who joined with his brother and two sisters.
The Jones family announced that a larger public memorial is being planned, with details to come soon.
This public ceremony will give fans, colleagues, and friends a chance to honor a true industry icon.
