The feud between DJ Funk Flex and Shyne continues to escalate, with the radio host addressing the former Bad Boy artist during his Saturday broadcast.

Flex shared a video of Shyne’s recent TMZ interview, in which the rapper accused the DJ of speaking negatively about icons like Jay-Z and Tupac Shakur. Shyne cited these names to downplay Flex’s recent mentions of him. In response, Flex teased his 7 p.m. Hot 97 show, promising to address the remarks, and he delivered.
“Shyne, I see you being careful with your words, too. You’re tippy-toeing ’cause you don’t want me full blast on your face,” Flex ranted on-air.
Later in the program, Flex stood by his claim that Shyne fabricated elements for his documentary, “The Honorable Shyne.”
“You should get a bag of money for a bag of lies. I’m okay with that,” he said.
Last month, Flex accused the “That’s Gangsta” rapper of lying in the Hulu film, particularly regarding the 1999 nightclub shooting that resulted in Shyne’s nearly nine-year prison sentence. Shyne has long maintained that he was a scapegoat in the crime, alleging that Diddy was the real triggerman. Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident, has also pointed fingers at the disgraced mogul. Despite this, Shyne claims he was forced to take the fall.
