The internet’s always messy, but Candace Owens is messier.
Tina Knowles recently jumped on Instagram to shut down rumors that Beyoncé got paid $10 million to back Kamala Harris.
“This has been flagged on Instagram as fake news and taken down. It’s called False Information. Sadly, other platforms with a lack of integrity still have it up. The lie is that Beyoncé was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When in fact, Beyoncé did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally in Houston,” She explained.
But Candace wasn’t having it and went off in a blog’s comment section, slamming Beyoncé and Tina over their responses.
“Foremost, Beyoncé needs to stop posting from her burner account. Also, this is not the flex she thinks this is. Foremost—my post literally said ‘allegedly’ and named the multiple publications that reported it. They ALL reached out to confirm the alleged amount, multiple times, to both Beyoncé and Kamala’s campaign and were met with silence.”
She then called Beyoncé out for allegedly pulling strings to get Instagram involved:
“The fact that Beyoncé opted to use her hyper-privileged connections at Instagram to have a post removed makes her a blubbering baby. People share untrue reports on me all the time—do I call Mark Zuckerberg?”
She continued, “Sending your literal mama to defend you as opposed to just responding to journalists asking for answers (like Cardi B did when I asked her) is childish af. Cardi answered immediately and I included her response in my show. Beyoncé has gotten so rich, she’s acting st*pid.”
Tina tried to shut it down, but Candace came back swinging with more shade and accusations.
If Beyoncé or her team responds directly, it’s only going to add more fuel to the fire.
