LisaRaye McCoy isn’t holding back.
In a candid conversation with Carlos King, the Players Club star opened up about betrayal, heartbreak, and the messy dealings of her marriage and friendships.
Carlos didn’t waste time, asking, “Did your ex ever sleep with one of your friends, celebrity friends?”
LisaRaye responded, “Mhmm,” before confirming the rumors: her former friend Nicole Murphy allegedly had an affair with her ex-husband, Michael Misick.
“She was at my bachelorette party,” LisaRaye revealed. “But you know what? At the time, my mother told me, ‘You need to watch that one.’”
It turns out Mama McCoy’s instincts were right.
Lisa shared that Nicole was dating Michael Strahan back then, so she gave him a heads-up about what was happening. “Let me send you a tape that I have of proof,” she said.
Lisa didn’t mince words when describing how she feels about the betrayal. “Friends don’t do that now. Where I’m from, South Side of Chicago, that’s an ass whooping!”
It’s clear that LisaRaye isn’t afraid to open up about her past.
Recently, she appeared in the second season of Queens Court looking for love alongside Deelicious and K. Michelle. At the end of the series, LisaRaye chose to leave alone.
