2 Chainz is frustrated with his friends for not showing up to his holiday turkey drive.

Ahead of Thanksgiving, the rapper shared images from his Tru Foundation’s annual giveaway, where he was joined by his wife, children, and the staff of his Esco restaurant. While the event had a good turnout, 2 Chainz expressed disappointment in the days that followed after several people he had helped in the past failed to help out the community.

“People ask me for favors all the time. Ask me for money all the time, and y’all can’t even pop up to help me help other people,” 2 Chainz said during an Instagram Live. “So now I’m working for you? I’m out here grinding, getting my money to help you because you can’t get your hustle together…I’m helping the unfortunate, and you one of the unfortunate, but you ain’t even gonna come back?”

While it’s unclear who he was addressing, 2 Chainz questioned, “What else were you doing?” clearly disappointed by their absence. The 47-year-old reflected on the situation and told the unnamed associates to “leave me alone” while he took time to process the lack of support. Despite the setbacks, the giveaway ultimately provided food to those in need, fulfilling its primary goal.
